“MARIALIA” is an independent luxury fashion label established in 2006 by Italian/American designer and fashion creative MariaLia Pacitto.

“Hi! My name is MariaLia (Lia for short) and I am a fashion designer, seamstress/tailor, and entrepreneur with my own fully-equipped sewing and design studio in the Los Angeles area, servicing clients in both the US and Europe. As someone with over 17 years of experience in the fashion industry, I am exceptionally qualified in design, sewing, and production in nearly every genre, from: ready-to-wear, swimwear, kidswear, menswear, activewear, sportswear, couture, intimates, lingerie, bespoke, costume and more. As a designer, my eponymous label focuses on women's ready-to-wear, swimwear, costume, and bespoke. The label, 'MARIALIA' has been carried by major retailers such as Patricia Field, Karmaloop, and Dolls Kill, to name a few. As a fashion/costume designer and seamstress/tailor, I have worked with many universally notable people such as Lady Gaga, Lizzo, Bebe Rexha, Demi Lovato, Lil Nas X, Chiara Ferragni, Kat Von D, Mariah Carey, and more. In 2021, after 8+ years of freelancing and producing for other brands and designers, I founded an apparel design services group called XPNSV DSGNR where I specialize in pattern-making, tech pack creation, techincal/CAD design, sample development, cutting, sewing, new brand consulting, micro-scale production, and more. As a fashion entrepreneur, my focus is to service clients with whatever is needed to bring their design or idea to life, at whatever stage in the design process they're at. I also work as a merchandise director for various micro to small-scale clothing companies and have ample knowledge in all aspects of apparel merchandise development ranging from: screen printing, DTG printing, embroidery, graphic design, vector design, apparel sourcing, wholesale, and e-commerce. Currently, I am open to booking select projects and connecting with other like-minded creatives.”
